The author gives a new short proof of direct and inverse embedding theorems for traces for anisotropic Sobolev spaces with mixed \(L_ p\)- norms on hyperplanes in \(R^ n\). The proof is based on interpolation theory and uses arguments similar to such of Triebel in his well-known book on interpolation.
