The author gives a generalization of Serre's spectral sequence \(H_ n(gr(L\cdot))\) \(gr(H_ n(L\cdot))\) to multifiltrations. This gives inequalities for many homological invariants. Applications to the homology of algebras with straightening laws are given. It is shown that e.g. the properties CM, generalized CM, Serre (S\({}_ n\)) transfer from the discrete straightening ring to the ring itself.
