Five new necessary conditions are obtained for a manifold \(^{n-1}V_ n\) with a homothetic group and without a stable point to admit a closed isotropic curve. This is an expansion of the result by \textit{D. Alekseevskij} [Ann. Global Anal. Geom. 3, 59-84 (1985; Zbl 0538.53060)].
