Modularity conditions in Lie algebras (Q910477)

The authors consider modularity conditions in the context of arbitrary algebras. Many previous results on Lie algebras are shown to hold. Many of the concepts are dualized to give modularity * conditions and the interplay between these concepts is emphasized along with the parallel development of the concepts. Often the combination of new results is specialized to the Lie algebra case to yield many equivalent conditions.
