Degeneration of Kunev surfaces. II (Q912168)

This note is a continuation of the author's note reviewed above. The main result consists in determination of the principal components of degenerations of Kunev surfaces with finite local monodromy in the pure second cohomology. As a corollary, the author obtains an explanation of the relationship between the positive dimensional fibres of the period map \(\Phi_ 2\) in the pure second cohomology of Kunev surfaces and elliptic surfaces with \(p_ g=1\) and \(q=0, 1\).
