The authors apply a theorem due to \textit{H. M. Srivastava} [Pac. J. Math. 85, 471-477 (1979; Zbl 0415.33006)] to obtain a generating relation for the class of polynomials \(\{P_ n^{\alpha,\nu}(x;r,s,p,k,\lambda)\}\) introduced by the authors.
