Reihenentwicklungen im Weylschen Grenzkreisfall über einem halbunendlichen Intervall. (Series expansion in the Weyl limit circle case on a semiinfinite interval) (Q913069)

This paper is a continuation of an earlier one [Ann. Mat. Pura Appl., IV. Ser. 129, 161-199 (1981; Zbl 0501.34021)]. The author investigates the following differential equation (1) \(\frac{1}{k}(pu')'-qu+\lambda u=0,\) with the boundary condition at the point \(s=0\) (2) \(u(0)\cosh - p(0)u'(0)\sinh =0,\) \(0\leq h<\pi\) and with an additional boundary condition at the point \(s=\infty\) which we denote by (3). The paper contains a detailed analysis of the behavior of the Weyl limit circle, the limit spectrum and other facts concerning the problem (1)-(3). Some examples illustrating the obtained results are placed.
