On a class of integral operators on a half-space with discontinuous symbol (Q913190)

The author studies the spectral asymptotics of an integral operator A on \(L^ 2(\Omega)\) with kernel \((\alpha /2\pi)^ n\int_{\Gamma}e^{i\alpha \xi (x-y)}\sigma (x,\xi)d\xi\) where \(\alpha\) is a large parameter and \(\Omega\) and \(\Gamma\) are regions in \({\mathbb{R}}^ n\).
