The paper addresses the problem of intersecting two surfaces, both given in the form \(f(x,y,z)=0\). An efficient data structure for the representation of the intersection curve is provided. As a byproduct, one can compute the irreducible components of the algebraic intersection curve and their corresponding multiplicities.
