We study local existence and regularity of solutions to n-dimensional singular Fuchsian type operators by means of a perturbation technique based on the theory of multidimensional Mellin transformation developed in the paper. The radial regularity of those solutions (asymptotic expansions) are studied in a series of forthcoming papers of the second author.
