The author gives some interesting examples of topological affine planes over the complex field \({\mathbb{C}}\), of topological dimension 4, with an automorphism group of topological dimension 5, containing \(C^*\cdot SU_ 2(C)\). The projective closures of these planes are of Lenz-Barlotti type I.2.
