The extension of two algorithms for the eigenvalue problem, a parallel orthogonal transformation algorithm and a modified Jacobi algorithm, to the dimension 64\(\leq N\leq 256\) on the array processor ICL DAP, including special versions for banded matrices, is discussed. Several examples are presented.
