The author studies the oscillatory and asymptotic behaviour of solutions of the equation \[ (y(t)+\sum^{m}_{\mu =1}p_{\mu}y(t- \tau_{\mu})+\sum^{n}_{\nu =1}r_{\nu}y(t- \delta_{\nu}))^{(\ell)}+\sum^{k}_{\kappa =1}q_{\kappa}y(t- \sigma_{\kappa})=0. \]
