Elliptic and parabolic operators in the space C (Q917782)

The author considers elliptic or parabolic operators with domain a space C of functions with a certain order of continuity. Necessary and sufficient conditions are given in order to obtain that two elliptic or parabolic operators have the same domain of definition C. The intermediate spaces E(\(\alpha\),q) are introduced between these domains and the whole space such that although two generic operators have different domains of definition, the E(\(\alpha\),q) spaces always coincide.
