The author attempts to set a correlation between the Hubble's expansion law and a physical principle motivated by the recent results in the detection of magnetic monopoles. It is based on dissipation of topological charges and decoupling of interactions which could have governed the onset of inertia and arrow of time and controlled the critical balance between mass density and expansion rate in Friedmann Universe.
