The authors give a simple explicit integral basis for a cyclic quartic extension \(K\) of the rational number field \(\mathbb{Q}\). This simplifies and corrects the integral basis for \(K\) given in ``The integers of normal quartic fields'' [Ann. Math. (2) 31, 381--418 (1930; JFM 56.0870.02)] by \textit{A. A. Albert}.
