A description of transitive groups on spaces of the form K/A is given, where K is a compact connected simply connected Lie group and A is a torus. The group K is supposed to be simple. The range of A here is not necessarily maximal, but A lies rather good in K. Namely, A is regularly embedded in K (author's definition).
