The aim of the paper is to characterize explicitly the smooth points of the unit balls of Ḻ(\(\ell^ 1,F)\) and Ḻ(E,\(\ell^{\infty})\), where E, F are arbitrary Banach spaces. Additionally, instead of \(\ell^{\infty}\), \(c_ 0\) and c are considered, too.
