To built approximate solutions to Schrödinger-like equations \(\nabla^ 2u+kf(x,y,z)=0\) (and also to the equations in one- and two-dimensional space) the author proposes to use the decomposition method developed by \textit{G. Adomian} [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 113, 202-209 (1986; Zbl 0606.35037)]. For specific equations some first terms of series of approximate solutions are found. The examples of computing of a few terms of the approximation show the good accuracy of the considered method.
