The concept of S-continuous mappings from general systems into general systems is posed. The Cartesian product of any set of systems and of the inverse limits of \(\alpha\)-type hierarchies of systems with S-continuous linkage mappings are shown to be S-continuous. The general controllability of Cartesian products and inverse limits are studied.
