The authors develop a method to determine the intersection of quadric surface patches with respect to visibility and clipping. It should be noted that the real intersections of real quadric surfaces have been algorithmically determined and classified by \textit{W. Killing} [Die Flächenbündel 2. Ordnung, Diss. U.
