Dynamics of parity progressive population (Q920877)

The author establishes the parity progressive dynamic population equation. This equation is then written as an abstract evolution equation on an appropriate Hilbert space and the author studies the spectrum of the parity progressive population operator proving that it generates a positive \(C_ 0\)-semigroup. Also, he studies the existence and uniqueness of the solution and its asymptotic properties.
