A pair of multivariable extensions of \textit{F. H. Jackson}'s inverse q- operators [Q. J. Math., Oxford, Ser. 13, 69-82 (1942; Zbl 0060.198)] are introduced and applied to Srivastava's basic generlized Lauricella functions. Certain most general expansions are deduced which extend Jackson's of the q-Appell functions. It is pointed out that some of the results of several authors consist of special cases of the results given here.
