Rational spline functions are represented in a form where numerator and denominator are written as Bernstein-Bézier polynomials. This leads to an algorithm of Casteljau type in which the weights (of the convex combinations) are different at the different stages. Since the formulas for general n are complicated, they are illustrated by several diagrams and figures.
