Existence and uniqueness of global solution for wave equations with scalar nonlinearities (Q923250)

The purpose of this paper is to prove the existence and uniqueness of global solutions for wave equations with scalar nonlinearities. Scalar nonlinearities were introduced by \textit{L. A. Medeiros} [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 69, 252-262 (1979; Zbl 0407.35051)] and \textit{N. W. Bazley} and \textit{T. Küpper} [Applications of nonlinear analysis in the physical sciences, Pap. Workshop, Bielefeld 1979, 24-40 (1981; Zbl 0502.70027)]. This article extends the work of \textit{D. F. Kremer} [Z. Angew. Math. Phys. 38, 46-64 (1987; Zbl 0666.35061)].
