It is studied the explicit construction of solutions for the modified Korteweg-de Vries equation, starting with a solution of the Korteweg-de Vries equation. Such solutions are obtained by using the commutation methods underlying Miura's transformation. The commutation for one- dimensional systems has recently become popular in connection with supersymmetric quantum mechanics.
