Towards self-duality of semidistributive artinian rings (Q923691)

Let R be a semidistributive artinian ring. Considering R as a normalizing ring extension over a ring T which is a product of uniserial artinian rings, the author characterizes the self-duality of R in terms of the structure parameters of the ring extension and gives an ideal \(I_ 0\) contained in \(R\cdot soc T\) such that the factor ring \(R/I_ 0\) is self- dual in the sense of Morita.
