Augmentation quotients of integral group rings. II (Q923718)

[Part I cf. Bull. Lond. Math. Soc. 18, 5-6 (1986; Zbl 0557.20003).] Let \({\mathbb{Z}}G\) denote the integral group ring of a group G and let \(\Delta\) (G) be its augmentation ideal. The authors give a description of the quotient group \(\Delta^ 2(G)\Delta (K)/\Delta^ 3(G)\Delta (K)\), when the group G is the semidirect product \(H\rtimes K\) of a normal subgroup H by a subgroup K. For the same group G, a description of one of the direct factors of the quotient group \(\Delta^ 2(G)\Delta (H)/\Delta^ 3(G)\Delta (H)\) is also given.
