The paper belongs to the large family of works in the metric fixed point theory for multivalued maps. A theorem on the existence of fixed points for a general class of set-valued maps satisfying some contractive-type assumptions is established. The results and hypotheses are too elaborate to be stated here. Some examples illustrating the situation are given. No applications are provided.
