In this paper there are studied ultra-high resolution photoassociation phenomena for cesium atoms. The authors identify three long vibrational progressions and many rotational levels which suggest higher partial wave contributions to the photoassociation cross section due to the presence of the trapping laser. Further numerical applications of this technique illustrate the importance of this method in the study of the molecule structure.
