The author considers an impulsive delayed equation and establishes conditions for the instability of the trivial solution. The first two main results require non-delayed dependent conditions and the third one requires conditions involving the delay. In any case, however, the author employs the theory of dichotomies for linear differential systems to obtain the results. An example is given.
