The authors study total ill-posedness in linear semi-infinite optimization. They establish characterizations of some classes of linear semi-infinite programming problems. The characterizations obtained here are of geometrical nature, and they depend exclusively on the original data. Some sufficient conditions for total ill-posedness are also given.
