Summary: A theory of the elastic flexure of reinforced concrete beams in presence of cracking is thoroughly developed. The mean curvature between the cracks is evaluated and the differential equation of the flexure of the reinforced concrete beams in presence of cracks is obtained. The various numerical applications show agreement with the test results.
