The article discusses a general monotone reaction-diffusion bistable system which consists of scalar reaction-diffusion equations coupled with ordinary differential equations. Using comparison principles and super/sub solutions, the author proves the asymptotic exponential stability of traveling front solutions of the system without resorting to spectral-analytic methods for the linearized problem.
