The authors study modular forms of half integral weight and in particular their coefficients \(a(n)\) modulo a prime \(\ell\). For a given \(X\), upper and lower bounds are proven for the number of coefficients \(a(n)\not\equiv 0\mod \ell\) with \(n\leq X\).
