The authors study spectral sets of functions which are expressed by Dirichlet series on a half-plane. Here several results from papers of \textit{Y. Kamiya} [Acta Math. Hung. 105, No. 1--2, 103--114 (2004; Zbl 1102.11043), Acta Math. Hung. 110, No. 1--2, 51--65 (2006; Zbl 1150.11030), and J. Math. Anal. Appl. 329, No. 2, 1303--1315 (2007)] are improved.
