The paper is concerned with the study of the obstacle problem associated with nonlinear elliptic equations for \(L^1\)-data and principal part modeled by the \(p(.)\)-Laplacian with variable exponent. The main results are a priori estimates for an entropy solution of the obstacle problem in Marcinkiewicz spaces with variable exponent and the existence and uniqueness of an entropy solution to the obstacle problem.
