Many authors mention the importance of the investigation of flows of non-Newtonian fluids with boundary conditions which differ from the classical non-slip conditions. Various mathematical models of nonlinear viscous fluid were investigated by \textit{V. G. Litvinov} [Motion of a nonlinear-viscous fluid. (Russian). Moskva: ``Nauka'' (1982; Zbl 0523.76004)]. This paper is devoted to the proof of the existence of weak solutions to the boundary value problem which describes the stationary motion of a nonlinear viscous fluid with the slip condition on the boundary. The results essentially improve some results of the above-cited monograph.
