The authors consider a class of interception problems of a maneuverable target in a plane. One of the basic elements of solution is a robust capture zone. For a linearized model, the corresponding weak and strong inverse problems are formulated and solved within linear feedback strategies. A step-by-step algorithm is suggested. Some illustrative examples are also given.
