The authors consider a collisional plasma half-space with mirror boundary condition assumed for the distribution function at the boundary. Within the kinetic approach, they study properties of spatial dependences of the plasma self-consistent electric field and electron distribution function in presence of an external electric field that is harmonic in time. The electron collision rate is taken proportional to the particle velocity intensity and the problem has been solved analytically. Features such as Debye and Drude modes were obtained and discussed for various values of parameters involved.
