In this paper the authors investigate the notion of homotopy pushout in the category of binary reflexive relational structures and explore some of its basic properties. A discrete homotopy theory for binary reflexive structures was recently studied by \textit{B. Larose} and \textit{C. Tardif} [Adv. Math. 189, No.~2, 268--300 (2004; Zbl 1061.06005)].
