The author generalizes some results by \textit{E.~Levin} and \textit{D.~S.~Lubinsky} [Orthogonal polynomials for exponential weights, Springer, New York (2001; Zbl 0997.42011)] on the root-distances and the weighted Lebesgue function corresponding to orthogonal polynomials. He deals with exponential (not necessary symmetric) weights.
