K-homology of continuous fields of noncommutative tori (Q950645)

If \(A\) is a \(C^{*}\)-algebra, then its \(K\)-homology groups are given by \(KK^{0}(A,\mathbb C)\) and \(KK^{1}(A,\mathbb C)\). In the paper under review, the author exhibits explicit generators for the well-known \(K\)-homology group of the \(n\)-tori \(\mathbb{T}^{n}\). He then uses this to exhibit generators of the \(K\)-homology groups of the discrete and generalized discrete Heisenberg group \(C^*\)-algebras. He also examines continuous fields of rotation algebras over tori.
