In this paper, the authors study Lie bialgebra structures on a family of Lie algebras of Block type. Lie algebras of this type are not only closely related to the Virasoro algebra or the Virasoro-like algebra but they are special cases of Lie algebras of Cartan type S and Cartan type H. Here Lie bialgebra structures on a family of Lie algebras of Block type are shown to be triangular coboundary.
