The referred volume is the first part of a more extensive series on fuzziness and uncertainty with regards to the rational behavior. This topic is delt as a methodological analysis with a minimal deal of simple and mostly descriptive mathematics, and with a detailed discussion of the relations among particular concepts and topics related to the decision-making under uncertainty. The text of the book is divided into six chapters oriented to particular aspects of the fuzzy rationality, namely to the uncertainty, sub-optimality, risk, optimality of decisions, and also to the survey of some decision-choice theories regarding uncertainty as well as to their paradoxes. The volume is completed by index, and by a large list of references. The references are classified by the topics they are related to, and their list includes more than 1700 items.
