    The paper is concerned with chaos synchronization. The authors perform numerical experiments on the Sprott-S system, the nonlinear Bloch equations, the hyperchaotic oscillator, and the unified chaotic system. The numerical results demonstrate that the methods based on the stability criterion of linear systems and the concept of matrix measure are effective. As there is no need to calculate the Lyapunov exponents, the methods are easier to apply than conventional synchronization techniques.
