In this paper, various applications of the pseudoperturbation method started by [\textit{M. K. Gavurin}, Zh. Vychisl. Mat. Mat. Fiz. 1, 757--770 (1961; Zbl 1155.47302)] are considered. These applications are as follows: iteration processes calculating eigenvalues and generalized Jordan chains; the one-dimensional displacements problem; the one-dimensional problem with two displacements; Schmidt's spectral problems.
