On passage to the limit in nonlinear elliptic equations (Q954198)

This note is devoted to passage to the limit in a sequence of elliptic problems. The ``limiting'' equation is known beforehand but has a nonclassical structure, which means that it contains the \(p\)-Laplacian with a variable exponent \(p=p(x)\). As an application the author presents the solvability of a well-known pair of equations from non-Newtonian fluid dynamics without the usual smallness assumptions.
