Assume that \(T= AB\) is a hyponormal operator on a Hilbert space. (i) If \(A\) and \(B\) are Hermitian operators and \(\text{ran\,}B\) is closed, then \(T\) is similar to its adjoint \(T^*\). (ii) If \(A\) is Hermitian and \(B\) is positive with closed range, then \(T\) is Hermitian.
