Relationships between covering properties of a topological space involving \(\gamma\)-covers and converging properties of sequences of continuous real-valued functions defined on the space are studied. The author uses semicontinuous functions instead of continuous ones to modify some notions (QN-spaces, wQN-spaces, sequence selection property) and shows that some of new notions coincide with the original ones.
